So we have a little less then 2 months til Gates of Summer. I have started working on a menu for us. Very simplistic menu.

Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning will potentially be:

buttermilk pancakes(plain, with berries or apple cinnamon raisin) or oatmeal(your choice of fruit added)
with bacon and/or eggs and some additional fruit

    Lunch:
Hotdogs a littel more fruit and some carrots or celery

    Supper:
    goulash
    rice and hamburger
    chicken rice
    a stew
    lentil soup

That's what I'm thinking will be a good menu voice any comments or suggestions of questions you have here

Lentils are another domesticated grain from the near east that have edible small and lense shaped seeds. being 26% protien they have then 3rd highest protein content of any plant and are big part in the diet of people in india and nepal.

so when i say lentil soup im refering my moms reciped which consists of lentils and ground hamburger, though their will be an addition of carrots into the soup. yes we will have some side veggies and fruit to go with supper also.

i should also note that im not cookin all of the above things, its gonna be an either or kinda of deal with the breakfast options and i will only make 2 of 5 supper dishes(one each night)

side fruit options include nectarines more apples oranges or grapes.
side veggies could be carrots celery green bell peppers or tomatos

Well honestly I think its better we come over prepared (Which I know would raise our budget) so that no one starves...and just for the sheer fact that well there are some people are pickier than others so there's more of a variety...but that's just my opinion so take it or leave it.

when it comes to filler food we need to just get more bread and more rice!!! there are multiple easy bread and/ or rice dishes that could be made with very few ingredients that we could even grab at a gas station if we are out!!

I have taken rice and meat dishes into consideration aarya and i am on top of things not to worry and ill also see about making some bread for us before we leave. Also im not sayin this is the menu. I will be askign those who are goin about a week before we leave what they wish to eat
the most popular items will be what we roll with.
