Bulk Leather order?

so most of us are interested in acquiring some degree of leather armor if i remember correctly. so i thought id propose a bulk leather order from tandy leather http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/Leather.asp

so mostly i started this as an organizing sorta thing. So if anyone was interested take a look at the link and figure out how much you need and well go from their, ill probely be ordering the stuff thats in the 4.30 per square foot range. keep in mind.

i am interested in some leather!!! it is TIME to get the GARB made!!! i think that everyone should be getting some leather but that is just my opinion!!! we could all use it, belts, pouches, sword holders, shoes etc!!!

i think we should make an order by march 15th !!!!

I checked tandy last night. Currently one saddle skirt side(recommended for armor making and shoes) weight 12oz to 15oz will be 139 dollars for 22-24sqft

well your basically geting a 6x4 chunk of leather for that and it would be split among multiple people

if i do get some leather, could it be used to make a vest for amour or some type of garb?

ok so what we would need to know is
1) what kind of item do you want to make.
2) approx. amount needed


then
3) how many people want to go in on one "sheet"
4) how much per person (by amount needed)
5) if we need to order more than 1 "sheet"
6) also if we need to consider another kind of leather?
